Rental Agreement for Normatec Leg System

This Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into by and between Hayley Aburn – Thrive Massage Therapy, located at 93 Georgina Street, Marshlands 8083, Christchurch, hereinafter referred to as the “Provider,” and the undersigned client, hereinafter referred to as the “Renter”.

1. Purpose of Agreement

   The Provider agrees to rent out Normatec Leggings (“the Equipment”) to the Renter for personal use, under the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
   
   

2. Term of Rental

   The rental period will commence on the date of pick up and time and will end on drop off date and time, unless extended by mutual written consent.
   - Rental duration: overnight (24hrs from pick up) or weekly options
   - Pick-up/Drop-off: in person only, no shipping
   
   

3. Rental Fees

   The Renter agrees to pay the Provider the following rental fees:
   - Daily Rate: $30
   - Weekly Rate: $90
   
   Payment is due in full at the time of rental pick up via Eftpos or Online.
   
   

4. Use of Equipment

   - The Renter agrees to use the Equipment only for its intended purpose as outlined by the Provider.  
   - The Renter must not modify or tamper with the Equipment in any way.  
   - The Renter is responsible for ensuring the Equipment is used in a safe and proper manner, following all instructions provided by the Provider.
   
   

5. Care and Maintenance

   - The Renter agrees to return the Equipment in the same condition as it was received, clean and free of any damage.  
   - The Renter must immediately notify the Provider if the Equipment is damaged, lost, or malfunctions during the rental period.  
   - The Renter is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement if the Equipment is damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
   
   

6. Return of Equipment

   The Renter agrees to return the Equipment to the Provider on the agreed-upon return date. Late returns will incur a fee of $30 per day. If the Equipment is not returned within 7 days after the return date, the Provider reserves the right to take further action, including but not limited to charging for the full replacement cost of the Equipment.
   
   

7. Liability

   The Renter acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for any injury or harm resulting from the use of the Equipment. The Renter agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Provider, its agents, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the use of the Equipment.
   
   

8. Insurance

   The Renter is encouraged to carry their own insurance coverage for personal injury and equipment damage. The Provider does not provide any insurance coverage for the Renter.
   
   

9. Termination of Agreement 

   The Provider reserves the right to terminate this Agreement if the Renter fails to comply with the terms and conditions outlined herein. In such cases, no rental fees will be refunded, and the Renter must return the Equipment immediately.
   
   

10. Entire Agreement

    This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements or understandings.
